EinschreibungApplications must be submitted by Friday, January 14, 2011 (date of postmark) by sending the completed application form to the competition office.

Required for application are:

  • A copy of the birth certificate
  • A copy of the passport or identity card
  • Artistic career (in detail)
  • Proof of musical training
  • Letter of recommendation from an academic teacher (for students)
  • 1 passport photograph and 1 coloured glossy  (3.5"x5.1")

Incomplete applications cannot be accepted.

Due to reasons of limited capacity, only a restricted number of participants will be able to take part. The decision regarding the acceptance of applicants to the competition will be made by the competition office under the chairmanship of the president.

The participants will be informed in writing by Friday, January 28, 2011. Applicants shall be entitled to participate in the Competition once they have received this notice and remitted their registration fee.

The registration fee of € 100,00 must be transferred – free of all charges for the recipient – by Friday, February 11, 2011.

If the credit transfer is not successfully carried out before the aforementioned date, the right of participation expires. The registration fee will not be refunded in the case of a participant withdrawing from the competition.

The participants are in charge of organizing and paying for their own travel, accommodations and food. The competition office can help the participants in finding reasonably priced accomodations.

By applying each participant in the competition accepts the aforesaid competition terms.

The German text of this announcement is legally binding.
