The prize-winners are entitled to call themselves „Prize-winner of the 6th International Telemann Competition".

Connected with the awards are prizes in the following amounts:

1th Prize: 7.500 €
2nd Prize: 5.000 €
3rd Prize: 2.500 €


Prize-winners will also have the opportunity to participate in a concert at the 21th Magdeburger Telemann-Festtage in March 2012. Furthermore, a special prize for the best execution of the performer’s own stylistically appropriate ornamentation can be awarded by the Melante-Stiftung Magdeburg. A Bärenreiter Urtext Prize and a prize of public can also be awarded. In addition, concert engagements have been offered.

It is not obligatory to give out all awards. The jury's decisions are in every case legally incontestable.
